What time do you open?

We’re open from 9am – 5pm Monday to Saturday. On Sundays we have a wee lie-in before opening 10am – 5pm.

What time is the Restaurant open and can I book a table?

The Restaurant is open 9am – 4.30pm Monday to Saturday and 10am – 4.30pm on Sundays. Last hot orders are taken at 3.30pm.

Booking is available for a single table or a special event. We have a private dining space that can cater for up to 50 people so if you’re looking for somewhere to host a business event, family gathering or birthday dinner Threaplands is the place to come.

Where can I find a copy of your menu?

Our menu can be found here on the website. We often introduce specials which are offered last minute so we can’t always keep the website updated with what’s new. If you want to keep track of our specials please like us on Facebook.

Is there plenty of parking available?

We have a huge gravel car park at the front of the building offering free parking all day. There is also a bike stand and motorbike spaces. The ample disabled spaces are on tarmac with a hard footpath leading all the way to the building.

There is plenty of space for caravans, campervans and we have an area for coach parking as well.

If customers are picking up large items from the outdoor area (winter fuels, compost etc) staff will direct them to the pickup area at the side of the building.

Has the old site closed now?

Our old site is now closed to the public. We continue to use large polytunnels to grow a lot of our own plants which are available to buy in the garden centre. Now that the main public area is in the new space, it means we can expand our production facilities to cope with the increased demand.

I used to have a loyalty card. Is there a new system in place and how does it work?

Our old loyalty card system ended on 31st December 2018. We are busy finalising the details on the brand new system that will introduce a whole load of features that we hope will be of benefit to those signed up to it.

I have a large garden. Would you be able to do some work on it?

Our landscaping team would love to come and see you and find out what it is you’re looking for. Whether it be a large or small project Threaplands can help. If you know what you want you can fill in the Get A Quote form on the website, alternatively you can give the Landscaping team a call on 01343 842245.

Do you sell gift cards/vouchers and if so, how do I order?

We certainly do! If you’re not sure what to get someone for their birthday, Christmas, Mother’s Day etc our gift vouchers are the perfect treat. We have two types of voucher available currently. Threaplands own which can only be spent with us or we’re pleased to offer HTA National Garden Gift Vouchers that can be spent in a variety of locations around the UK.

Gift Vouchers start at just £5 and increase in increments of £5. Threaplands Gift Vouchers can be purchased here on the website or by popping into the shop and paying at the tills.

Are you hiring?

We are often looking to increase our staff team that covers a range of different areas of the business. Do you allow dogs into the Garden Centre?

Unfortunately we do not allow dogs into the building with the exception of assistance dogs. We have a sheltered area at the front of the building with water where dogs can be tied whilst owners are browsing the shop. There are plenty of walks nearby that dog-walkers can wander on before treating yourself afterwards!
