Booking for breakfast with Santa? Please read booking details below BEFORE booking.

BREAKFAST WITH SANTA BOOKING DETAILS

This year we are staggering entry to provide the smoothest possible service. This means we have 2 arrival slots (9 a.m. and 9.20 a.m.).

We know that everyone is a bit different. Some people want to sit for longer and soak up the experience where some just want to come along, enjoy breakfast, be entertained and see Santa with all the excitement packed into a short time. We recommend joining us for the first 9 a.m. sitting if you wish to be a bit quicker (lasting around 1- 1.5 hours) or book the 9.20 a.m. slot if you want to take longer to enjoy the experience (lasting around 1.5-2 hours). As it takes some time for Santa to see all the kids in his grotto the later seating at 9.20 a.m. will be sat for longer.

PLEASE NOTE BREAKFAST WITH SANTA IS A SHORT VISIT TO SEE SANTA IN HIS GROTTO

As Santa has many children to see, he can only see children for a short time but still has a conversation with the children and time for snowy photos. Children are always delighted to see Santa and let’s face it, most simply want to let him know their Christmas wishes and enjoy the gift. If, however you wish to spend longer with Santa, we will be bringing back our extremely popular Santa’s grotto which will shortly be open for bookings between 12 & 3 p.m. on the dates shown below (same as breakfast with Santa). Santa will have more time to chat during these extended visits.

Breakfast with Santa dates are:

Saturday December 14^th (9.20 a.m. slot- 5 spaces remaining)

Sunday December 15^th (Fully booked)

Saturday December 21^st (9.20 a.m. slot fully booked)

Sunday December 22^nd (Fully booked)

Monday December 23^rd

Tuesday December (9.20 a.m. slot fully booked) 24^th

What will the experience include?

Full breakfast (chosen on the day) made up of the exact items you wish from our Santa menu (GF & DF options are available), juice and tea/ filter coffee. If you just want 6 sausages and a hash brown, no problem. Everything is served to your table by our elves and food/ drink is unlimited during the Santa experience. We will have activities for everyone to enjoy including children’s entertainers- Mad Hatters of Moray. You will be invited to join Santa to get photos with him in his snowy sleigh and family visit to the grotto where children will have time to speak with Santa and receive a gift bag per paying child worth a minimum of £15.00. Santa’s sled dog team will also be joining us for photos & fun.

Full payment will be required at time of booking so please have a card ready- Sorry, we cannot take bookings by email or phone. Each person of any age (over 12 months) will be required to pay £22.95 per person regardless of adult or child.

You MUST enter the appropriate number of people attending in each booking field before picking a date from the calendar. Adults attending (aged 13 and above, no gift), children attending (aged 1-12, will receive grotto visit and gift from Santa. Please note in the comments box if you require a high chair.

PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE BABIES (who will be UNDER 12 MONTHS, at time of visit) IN ANY OF ABOVE, please see notes below.

Guidance on babies: Babies under 12 months do not need to pay but are expected to sit on adults knee or in a carrier, they will not receive food or a gift but they can have their snowy photo taken with siblings and Santa. 1 free space only per 3 paying attendees please. Please do NOT include babies under 12 months in your booking numbers as they will be charged for. Please note in the comments box that they will be joining the group. If you wish for them to have a high chair, order food and take part in grotto visit with gift, they must be paid for as a child.

This event is most suited to children aged 3-9. All are welcome and will enjoy the experience of Santa at Threaplands although please be aware that the experience and gifts are geared toward children 3-9.

Please note that only 75 spaces will be available for each slot each day. If 9 a.m. is fully booked for example, it will disappear from the options, 9.20 may still be available. If neither of the above timeslots show in the drop-down list on your day of choice, that day is fully booked, please choose a different day.

IF THE SYSTEM DOES NOT SAY “BREAKFAST WITH SANTA” IT IS JUST A STANDARD TABLE BOOKING AND NOT BREAKFAST WITH SANTA, please be careful.

We recommend speaking to any friends or family you wish to attend and to make a single booking as a group although smaller tables may be available to book separately. Please note we cannot guarantee to sit separate bookings together but a group will always be seated together. Please have options for different dates as your first choice may be fully booked.

Please check your email INCLUDING junk email for your booking confirmation which also contains a link to amend/ cancel your booking. Your confirmation email will not necessarily say “breakfast with Santa” but if you have been charged, your booking is correct. Bookings cancelled minimum 48 hours in advance will not be charged for. Please cancel using the link in your email or send an email to cafe@threaplands.com to cancel. Bookings cancelled within 24 hours will be charged at FULL price. Please put your booking day and time in your diary, every year we have people miss out because they have the wrong day or time. You must arrive either slightly before or exactly at your booking time. Please do not attend any more than 5 minutes early and please do not arrive late as your experience may be impacted.

GENERAL BOOKING INFORMATION

Booking is essential for afternoon teas and advised for groups of 10 or more

We do not take table bookings for small groups. Please note that table bookings are only available for groups of 10 or more unless for afternoon teas where booking for any group size is essential.

Booking is NOT required except for afternoon teas when booking is essential. We always have walk in tables available and operate a buzzer system at peak times to allow you to browse the shop whilst we prepare a table.

When booking a table with us, please note that only available services are shown. If the service you wish to book, for example afternoon tea, is not shown as an option, this is because the service is fully booked for that time. Please try a different time, for example 3 p.m. or different day.

Lunch is bookable only for groups of 10 or more from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. (last food order 3 p.m. time slot length depends on booking size but minimum of 1.5 hours for each booking)

Afternoon tea is bookable from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. (2 hour time slots are booked, building closes 5 p.m.). Our afternoon teas are not suitable for vegetarians and are not GF. We have many GF options on our main menu which can be enjoyed with an afternoon tea group. Please book a table large enough for the whole group and note the number of people NOT having afternoon tea in the comments box. Please also note if you do not want Fish in sandwiches.
